Battery[edit]

The IIIxe uses triple-A batteries. I know this because I used to own one. Make sure your facts are straight before you start writing any other articles on Wikipedia.

Yep. I have one right in front of me. It uses 2 Triple-A's. - FireForEffect - 01:56, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I updated the whole article and re-wrote it as it displayed too much content on the IIIc and not the IIIxe, and went way off topic of the IIIxe and I also put in some additional info. on the unit & some technical stuff about it :) by nowshining

The article reads like a beginner's step-by-step guide to the IIIxe. Lavenderbunny 01:02, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

what do u mean bunny?? it is all wrong on most things...however I wil do some corrections - I have and use one so I now all the info. about it and I also Sudied it to the core/max - also thanks for re-adding links at least they didn't get u like they did me, if you go back in the histroy u'll notice where some stupid mod changed it and messed up on the OS as 3.0 which is wrong it came out with 3.5 not 3.0. Actually the first Administrator didn't change it all around, then one stupid one came and changed it too look bad and did that arong info. thing - however the sidebar thingy was good, kept that - undid it and added that and then they undid me and did the references thing which I had many references to things by which i expected two or so to be removed and also I got the dimension from ebay.com info. on one of their catalogs on the pda itself. - however I don't get the step-by-step guide - which is shouldn't be - and when I read it it seems as a lot of it is fine, I think I know what your saying but lolz I was trying to explain some things which I did which someone would re-word the button things, etc.. part..and where they were, etc.. :P Brain crapped out on me when trying to write that. and yes the first mod was fine which saw everything was fine. Wikipedia tho is getting hateful now days and taking things down which are good and keeping the bad - heck did u see the earlier one before I edited it - it sucked and referenced the IIIc, and junk... :) --nowshining 4.246.210.54 18:00, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I felt the article before dwelled a bit too long on features available across the Palm III line, like the silk screen, Graffiti, Memo Pad and Calculator. The article felt like a "Get Started with Your New Palm IIIxe" guide that comes with the box, explaining every feature to help someone get acquainted with their new PDA, than an encyclopedic article about a PDA that is no longer in production. However, don't let that discourage you from improving the article.

I picked up my Palm IIIxe from a thrift store; with Palm OS 4.0, it is very modern and usable. :) Lavenderbunny (talk) 04:47, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We have found this product to be a very inexpensive option for the beginner. [1]

Colour[edit]

Should we mention that the Palm IIIxe and IIIc are black, whereas the III and IIIx are grey? 94.168.179.213 (talk) 20:11, 10 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
