Tagged for cleanup[edit]

I tagged this article for cleanup. This article contains numerous spellings and poorly-worded sections, all of which make for an article that's neither encyclopedic nor flattering to the school. I'm going to take a stab at cleaning up obvious spelling issues, but I'm sure this article will benefit by someone going over it in detail. -Quintote 03:49, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I've gotten through what I believe is most of the cleanup, so I went ahead and took the tag back off. (I know, I just added it. I wasn't expecting that I'd make it through the changes.) It still could stand some serious fleshing out. -Quintote 04:24, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some suggestions/notes from a student.[edit]

While I did do a minor edit updating the principal from Mr. David Jones to Dr. Benjamin Ruby (Source: http://www.pasd.us/administration.shtml), I'm not very well versed in Wikipedia. So to whoever may see this, here are some notes from a student.

1) In academic achievement it may be worth noting that our PSSA test scores have been below the state's expected level of improvement. 2) Unless these clubs suffer from some really bad marketing, Chess Club, PHIDA, Photography Club, SADD, TATU, and the sign language club are all defunct. Some missing clubs from this list are Writing Club, Brainbusters, French Club, Spanish Club, and German Club.

3) Footloose is listed as the most recent spring musical, so why not list the most recent fall play (Charley's Aunt) as well?

4) I am almost certain that the artificial turf proposal for Buck Swank Athletic Field is dead.

5) Might be worth adding Mini-THON as it's own activity or as an add on to Key Club. While Key Club hosts Mini-Thon it tends to draw a large portion of the student body. So that's what I noticed after reading through the article.
