Design section[edit]

I just ordered the book : Marianne Ström (14 May 2001). Métro-art et Métro-poles (in French). ACR Edition. ISBN 978-2867700651.. I expect to find information on the design aspects in the book. I'll get the book next week, I'll need some time to read it though. --Anneyh (talk) 14:28, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That was not enough... but I expect two books next week : Paris Metro Handbook by Brian Hardy and Paris Metro Style: In Map and Station Design Paris Metro Style: In Map and Station Design by Mark Ovenden. --Anneyh (talk) 21:11, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

I made some research and found the origin of this picture: File:Metro de Paris - Plan traversee sous-fluviale ligne A Nord-Sud.jpg. A black and white scan is available on the website of the French National Library [1], stating that it is a public domain work. In the 1913 edition, the water may not have been in blue and the line may not have been in red, but I don't think this coloring can be copyrighted.

Shall we re-include the picture? --Anneyh (talk) 21:53, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'd suggest that the image be modified to black-and-white to avoid issues of derivative work, and it should then be good to go. Acroterion (talk) 22:13, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'd rather try to find out if the original has colors. --Anneyh (talk) 21:59, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
