Is she dead[edit]

Someone added a mention to a death date (without a source) to the persondata box. I removed it as unsourced. If people can find actual mention of Belcher's death than they should incorporate the fact into the article.John Pack Lambert (talk) 16:40, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Date of birth[edit]

I have removed the date of birth from the infobox and the year of birth from the short description, lead, and categories. The year in the lead and the date in the infobox had citations to Belcher's biography on tvguide.com, but I cannot see a date of birth (or even a year of birth) anywhere on that page. The editor who added the ref has been blocked. I stumbled upon an edit of theirs that didn't check out, and as a result have been going back over their edits, and it appears that they just made up refs and made sure that they were hard to verify. Tom Reedy (talk) 15:42, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Eddie Blick, I don't know if this is of any practical use, minus any credible source for even the approximate year of birth, but on April 7 of this year, two Massachusetts papers—e.g. https://www.newspapers.com/image/948043127/?clipping_id=129102199 —did announce that that day was Belcher's birthday, but without giving the age or otherwise specifying the year of birth. Thanks, @DavidESpeed. I'm never quite sure what is better to do when we have a credible source for the month and day of birth but not the year. @Teblick, I asked a couple admins about that a few weeks ago. And they said that there's no point to having a birthday with the year because the year is the key important information since that gives the age of the person. Kcj5062 (talk) 19:22, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
