Sources[edit]

I will undertake the task of adding citations to reliable secondary sources. I am optimistic because some of the sources I've located are listed in the "Sources" section already. I'll try to link to specific sentences in the article. Cordially, BuzzWeiser196 (talk) 17:34, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Birth[edit]

Sources reviewed include the 1920 Federal Census, Florida Death Index, Social Security records, US Public Records Index, grave marker and her obituary in the Tallahassee Democrat. These show a variety of birth years (4 August 1917, 4 August 1918 and 4 August 1919), birth surnames (Pippin vs. Pippins), and birth place (Jacksonville in Social Security records, Blountstown in her obituary). It's anyone's guess which is accurate. I chose the data contained in the Social Security Applications and Claims Index for 1936-2007 because it gives her parents' full names, which may be useful for further research if anyone decides to pursue this. Citations and rewrite complete[edit]

I have added citations to sources that I believe to be reliable. This led to an expansion and re-write of the text. I have not relied on the news stories listed under "See Also." Some were written by gossip columnists and could be something other than straight news stories. Cordially, BuzzWeiser196 (talk) 13:51, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

TCM web site[edit]

I have removed statements that cited the Turner Classic Movies web site article "Death of Patricia Dane." The link did not work and a search of the site did not yield support for the statements. Cordially, BuzzWeiser196 (talk) 21:51, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
