Wide-ranging author...[edit]

He is known for being a prolific, wide-ranging writer of everything from steampunk to cyberpunk,

Is this phrase mind-blowingly (insensitive statement) to anyone else? I don't know enough about the author to correct it or to dispute the genre identifications, but the gap between steampunk and cyberpunk would not usually be considered wide for any author (they both end in "-punk", for chrissakes). Perhaps "...a prolific writer of steampunk and cyberpunk" is a bit less flowery, considering I don't see any particularly huge deviations from genre. 24.211.213.120 03:05, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
