Retrospective[edit]

An anonymous IP - User:151.202.116.149 claimed a full scale retrospective was held at the Guggenheim. I find no record of that exhibition. Please add it back with references if it was a show that actually took place. Modernist (talk) 20:16, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Smith, Hofmann and Pollock at Bennington[edit]

It's well documented that Greenberg organized the Pollock show (ref added) and the Hofmann show at Bennington is mentioned in Hofmann's biography. I'm looking for references, the Smith bio indicates a show at Bennington in 1951 however I haven't seen Feeley listed in connection with any of these shows - other then a party in 1952 for Pollock. Please provide refs for this material or delete it. The claims are from edits by IP User:66.11.198.6...Modernist (talk) 21:33, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

According to the Hofmann estate Greenberg also organized the 1955 Hofmann retrospective at Bennington. See reference in the article or here: 1955 Hans Hofmann Estate Modernist (talk) 00:30, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
