Reverted to previous edit as text added by 172.188.217.61 was text from Sporting Life with the first paragraph lifted from BBC Sport. Both sources are copyrighted, and the now-missing text was blatant plagiarism (the addition of "the son of a policeman" in the BBC paragraph is not enough to constitute a proper rewrite). This article needs a fair bit of work[edit]

Unfortunately I'm not knowledgeable about horse racing, but I hope other editors who are can help. I've added a tag to request references from primary sources (a single reference, and that the person's own website, is not close to sufficient) but the tone is jarring in several places too. For example: "Nicholls is renowned for being approachable and media-friendly." By whom? Without a source that's a case of weasel words. And straight after that: "His hegemony over British jump racing looks sure to continue for years to come." It is not the business of WP editors to make that sort of prediction. If a good source has made it then fine, but it must be quoted as such. That sort of thing. Loganberry (Talk) 01:17, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
