Pronunciation of surname[edit]

I'm wondering whether the pron. shouldn't it be /v@r-/ with schwa? Stress is on /-'hu-/ Wathiik 16:02, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Biography of Jesus, Heresy?[edit]

"Basic Instinct" director Paul Verhoeven, 69, a member of "Jesus Seminar," wrote the biography of Jesus book which suggested that Jesus' father might have been a Roman soldier who raped Mary, in 4 B.C. Jewish uprising versus Roman rule. Marianna Sterk of the publishing house J.M. Most main stream Christians have a number of beliefs in common. The Virgin Birth, Divinity of Christ, Resurrection of Christ after Crucifixion. In the light of these 3 main points it would be reasonable of you to ask if he is a Heretic.Johnwrd (talk) 02:22, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Project?[edit]

With his physics and math background Paul is perhaps the only director in the world who could do a creditable job on a Technological singularity film without making egregious technical errors. Forgotten soldier[edit]

"Frequent Collaborators"[edit]

Not only is this not done in articles on other directors (many of whom, I might add, collaborate more frequently than some cast/crew listed here do with Verhoeven), but some of the cast and crew in Verhoeven's list have only worked with him twice, which is hardly "frequent." I suggest removing it in favor of a prose mention of a few significant names (i.e. those who've worked with Verhoeven the most).PacificBoy 20:17, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
