Rating history[edit]

I have been researching the film on the website of the British Board of Film Classification and noticed that the film was PG in its theatrical release in the UK and was re-rated U with nine seconds of cuts in its home video release but the article does not say what was cut. I contacted the BBFC to find out what was cut but in their reply they stated that they do not allow access to documentation under twenty years old and cannot currently provide details of the cuts made to the title. I have never seen the uncut version and with the 20th anniversary of the classification date for video still about a year and a half away I would be grateful if someone who knows both versions could provide the relevant information. Before anyone asks the British home video cut still contains Alex being murdered by being thrown down the stairs and Anja threatening Zac and Sammy with a dagger. I have since contacted the BBFC, after the 20th anniversary of the video classification, and according to their reply the scenes cut were the instance of the word 'bum' when PC demonstrates the translation software to Zac and Zac's use of the word 'crappy' during his argument with Stephen in the car. However, the current release on Amazon Prime Video in the UK appears to be uncut although it is labeled as having a U certificate. Tk420 (talk) 10:30, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Orthography in the article[edit]

I would appreciate it if someone more familiar with Australian English could help to proofread this article. I think this article ought to use Australian grammar and orthography to reflect the production and setting of the film which is likely to have strong cultural ties to Australia. I know for a thing that Australian spelling is closer to British than American English though with some exceptions (e.g. labor as opposed to the British labour). I have however decided to use the American spelling for floppy disk because it is seen spelled that way in the film. Tk420 (talk) 15:21, 24 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
