Perhaps it can be noted that when Fruity Pebbles in Canada and the United States were sold under the same name, however had fundamentally formulation. Canadian Pebbles were elipsoidal with diameters of 1 and 2 cm, while the highly coveted American variety is more like a candy Special K. Kurtto 12:03, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Comercial mistake[edit]

In a recent commercial of fruity pebbles, bam bam and pebbles are controlling a dinosaur, and barney lures them out, they both jump to him and say dad! but barney is not pebbles's dad, should we add this? or something like that?-hotspot

... Ah! But he is Pebbles's father-in-law...

Is it true Fred Flintstone will no longer be on cereal boxes?[edit]

I have grown up with the Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble cartoon shows in the 1980s, 1990s and I remember going to the grocery store seeing my favorite characters Fred Flintstone, Wilma, Betty and Barney. I also remember the funny commercials with Fred and Barney fighting over their cereal. I can across some internet news articles saying that Fred Flintstone and his family will no longer be on cereal boxes anymore. The Flintstones were created by Hanna-barbera who are now both dead. If this rumor is true then I'm going to miss Fred Flintstone and his neighbors and family. Before the cereal boxes go out of print. I want to see a picture Fred Flintstone on wikipedia.org so future kids can know what used to be on Pebbles cereal boxes. Brand or Product Line[edit]

In spite of being labeled as brands, the cereal products themselves are product lines based off of the "Pebbles" brand. As defined by Investopedia, "a product line is a group of related products all marketed under a single brand name that is sold by the same company. Companies sell multiple product lines under their various brand names, seeking to distinguish them from each other for better usability for consumers."^[1] I do not feel like the use of the word "brand" in the article is appropriate in certain sentences and should be changed to "product line". I would like to leave this decision for a named editor, even if I do not have the confidence that this concern will be seen by one willing to make the edit(s). Remove "Pebbles 50th Birthday Celebration" section?[edit]

The 50th Birthday Celebration seems to be of little importance and also needs some significant clean-up. I propose deleting it unless someone feels the event is noteworthy enough to be included. Maybe just a quick note about the related products (Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles flavored ice cream, cake mix, creamer, protein powder, chocolate bars).
