MTV airplay

I cannot add this directly to the article itself because I cannot (yet) find a reliable source for verification, but in the hope that someone may succeed where I have failed I note that the video for this track was played for 13 consecutive weeks on MTV's 120 Minutes, which was a rare (and perhaps excessive) degree of exposure. --Geoff Capp (talk) 22:46, 10 November 2014 (UTC)

Its very difficult to talk about the airplay amount after all the years but I'm sure that it was played often by mtv America at that time. I was born in the late 80s but i have talked to so many people who were teenagers at that time. And they have seen the video like KISS THEM FOR ME often on MTV. i THINK 120 minutes was broadcast very late at night when they were in bed

Hot 100 airplay virtually a wonder !

Siouxsie and the banshees always had been a secret number in the usa

but it was 1988 when they first reached the us hot 100. i think it was something like a surprise. Mind that none of their singles before came in the near of the hot 100 or bubbling under hot 100
