This page is a train wreck. Could someone clean it up?[edit]

I'm not too familiar with all the Wikipedia requirements, but this page is a train wreck. Especially the beginning paragraph, which cites an unreleased song.I figure much better, more relevant information could be placed in the beginning paragraph. I suggest instead of listing a long list of specific genres in the summary paragraph, list more general genres.

Also, this page could use an infobox. Rockintyler8 (talk) 19:38, 27 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I was thinking of cleaning it up a while ago, but I doubt this article actually meets the notability requirements so never wanted to waste the work. Nothing's really changed in terms of notability since the last AfD. --Lewis Hulbert (talk) 03:37, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
As much as I love the Pegboard Nerds, I have to agree. Unless someone can establish they're notable enough this page really shouldn't exist. I can say that I've seen them mentioned on Billboard, but that's probably not enough to justify an entire Wikipedia article. Rockintyler8 (talk) 19:05, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Several of their songs have multi-million views on youtube (the one with the most views I can see from a quick glance is at 14 000 000+ views at the time of this writing, the second-most viewed is at 6 000 000+ views) and I know they have given live performances before (e.g. at TG2013, which had around 5 000 participants.) I'm not up-to-speed on the notability criteria for bands on wikipedia, but it seems to me that that should probably qualify. 37.191.195.109 (talk) 19:31, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
As an extra note, I remember seeing past revisions of this article before it was deleted and it was definitely better than its current incarnation. If it's notable, it'd probably be good to restore the old revisions. --Lewis Hulbert (talk) 03:39, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple Issues[edit]

This page has very few citations. Also "Emergency", "Hero", and "Swamp Thing" are not remixes. Also, Pink Cloud and Just Like That are not Singles, they're just 2 of the previewed songs on PBN's upcoming "Pink Cloud" EP. The entire Discography section would be better off as a table rather than a crappy list.

C'mon. I'd much rather see this page not exist than see it in a state as terrible as this. 74.240.51.91 (talk) 22:24, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Note, editor vandalized page, so should be taken with grain of salt. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 22:33, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe I fucked up but it was not my intention to "vandalize" the page. I'm a little new to how wikipedia works, cut me some slack. 74.240.51.91 (talk) 02:04, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It appears you have the browser extension "Cloud to Butt" installed, which has caused accidental vandalism when you have edited the article and talk page. Mainly, repeatedly changing "Pink Cloud" to "Pink Butt". Perhaps in the future using the "Show changes" button could prevent such accidents. I hope this helps to clear things up. 80.6.23.139 (talk) 02:55, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Also worth mentioning that most of the content on this page lacks really any good sources. Not sure about wikipedia's guidelines, but is it even proper to just list out songs like that without any proper citations/sources for the respective categories you're putting them in? 74.240.51.91 (talk) 02:20, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

  • @Duffbeerforme: I've declined this since the article wasn't entirely similar to the prior deleted version (mainly the Columbia Records assertion) and a search brought up some stuff that shows that they might pass notability guidelines now. I'm not entirely certain which of the Billboard lists give notability on here (I don't think that the Heatseekers counts offhand, but I may be mistaken), but it's enough to where I'd say that it'd be better to run this through AfD again to look to see if anything has changed.
