Peja[edit]

NBA.com doesn't say anything about his first name being Predrag. They say Peja.Basketball110 (talk) 00:31, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think that if you look closely enough you will be able to see the name Predrag on that page... —Preceding unsigned comment added by ArnoldPettybone (talkcontribs) 15:09, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

His name is Predrag. Peđa is his nickname. As English doesn't have 'đ' and it would be difficult for English speakers to pronounce it, Peja is used. But that doesn't make it his name.93.86.238.132 (talk) 18:22, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, it makes it his nickname. Like "Shaq." GeneCallahan (talk) 15:46, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Numerous vandalisms in this article[edit]

There are a lot of references to MC Chen and Ng. These are obviously cases of vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.210.71.198 (talk) 10:21, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In absence of "Đ" use "DJ"[edit]

If you'd like to stick to lexical rules, in our language if đ cannot - for some reason - be used then dj is the only valid replacement. So it's either peđa or pedja. NOT peja, pega, pedscha or whatever someone might come up with. In this concrete example "Peja" would be a nickname for someone with a completely different SURNAME, like Pejović or Pejić or the like and it is never a nickname for Predrag, ever. The only other nickname for Predrag is Predo. Same goes for cyrillic. 80.80.34.16 (talk) 07:32, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
