Fixing references to Pemba[edit]

It was appropriate to move the article on Pemba Island to Pemba, Tanzania. This was necessary to avoid ambiguity. In the process I created a disambiguation page entitled Pemba.

For the list of articles where cross-references to Pemba needs to be replaced by Pemba, Tanzania, see Talk:Pemba.

Should be moved to Pemba Island because commadab is for settlements. WP:NC:CITY Tobias Conradi (Talk) 18:44, 23 April 2007 (UTC) bye —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.167.27.130 (talk) 18:14, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That varies from country to country and is not standard worldwide. I would agree, though, that Pemba Island is perhaps a more reasonable name. Grutness...wha? 23:38, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ahhh stuffit. There are as many articles linking to Pemba Island as to Pemba, Tanzania... it makes sense to move it there. Grutness...wha? 00:36, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Spam Removed[edit]

I have removed a link that, while it did have some photos of Pemba, it is a professional photographers' site. I believe was too commercial as it also offered to sell books. Been there since 23 February 2009. Not as spammy as some, but gone. [Photography from Pemba Island]. 220.101.28.25 (talk) 02:50, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
