My grandparents volunteered at Peniel Hall in the early 30's. My Uncle Will Richardson lived there until he died in the late 40's. I even recited a little poem at the church services held in the basement. I think I was about 4. I always looked forward to a trip to the Hall when we would visit my grandparents in Los Angeles.
