I think this article should be merged with Pennsylvania Railroad class DD1. There's very little to say about Nos. 3936 and 3937 that is distinct from the class itself. Consider Southern Pacific 4449 vs. Southern Pacific class GS-4 as a contrary example; No. 4449 has plenty of individual history distinct from the class. This article could almost replace Pennsylvania Railroad class DD1 outright; it's better referenced and has much more design detail. Mackensen (talk) 23:15, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Merge Clearer article of still-manageable size as a result. Andy Dingley (talk) 00:36, 26 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge I added the information that was missing from here but was present in PRR DD1 to here, in preparation for the merger. Nick Gurr 7777 (talk) 21:36, 26 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge - Per nom. - Morphenniel (talk) 17:37, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge Any updates on the status of this merger? When will it happen if so? Have we reached consensus? —Nick Gurr 7777 | TALK / CONTRIBS | 00:22, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
