Charlottes[edit]

Is this really the right title for this page? These beads were used extensively by the Peranakans but were not manufactured by them. These beads are actually known as "charlottes" and were made by factories in Paris, Bohemia or Venice. They are no longer obtainable because the last Parisian bead factory closed in 2004. The only contemporary manufacturer of charlottes is in the Czech Republic. See [1][2] Gak (talk) 13:07, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
