merge into the fence article[edit]

This article has been here for about a year now, but it really doesn't have much information or references. It isn't clear if a "perimeter fence" is anything more than a fence that goes around a perimeter. Moreover, I'm sure that just about every type of fence is used somewhere in the world to enclose plots of land. To say that fences enclosing perimeters are mostly made of the types mentioned in this article is a little restrictive. Perhaps what little information this article has should be moved into the fence article? Dwr12 (talk) 21:00, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Residential fortresses[edit]

I wonder how many residential fences are comprised of timber that is 6 inches 'thick'? I presume that this reference is actually to timber pieces that are 6 inches wide. (Although this seems an arbitrary claim.) Aboctok (talk) 02:31, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
