Early Life[edit]

Is there not a conflict between execution and immortal? --SilasW 18:45, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Imperfect clean-up[edit]

Puja linked. Immortal cut. Thooran seems probably more worthy of a Wikipedia article than most of the myriads or lakhs of players of sport and music granted one. I tried to improve the language of the article and to cut out repetitions and some peacockery. I linked some subcontinent terms, and so on, but I gave up at the conflict between his being a composer but not a musician. One of the three references is a dead link. Another has parts word for word as the article and refers too to his 'L.T.' whatever that may be, neither Wikipedia nor an online dictionary gave any likely meaning. By strict application of Wiki criteria Delete should come up (that applied widely would knock out at least a billion articles), and the article verges on cultural vanity, but I hope someone will set it right.--SilasW 16:35, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Patriot[edit]

Can someone be properly described in an encyclopedia as an unqualified patriot? One gang's hero is another gang's villain. He was Indian and a Tamil. How far did his patriotism extend?--SilasW (talk) 18:41, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
