Notability[edit]

He owned about 15 slaves in the 1850 census, and more in the 1860 census.

What is the notability of this statement? It sounds like a moral evaluation, and is therefore non-encyc. The category 'American slave owners' should be restricted to people whose slave-owning history was notable in itself. Valetude (talk) 06:07, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
