Proposed changes[edit]

New Basionym should be moved to "Persicaria tinctoria (Aiton) Spach", the old spelling "Polygonum tinctorum L." is misspelled and should be changed to: "Polygonum tinctorium Aiton". Maybe a redirect of the often misspelled version should be forwarded to "Persicaria tinctoria" too.

Synonyms are also: Pogalis tinctoria (Aiton) Raf.; Ampelygonum tinctorium (Aiton) Steud. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.60.206.75 (talk) 09:05, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistency between different versions of this article[edit]

This article states "It is native to Eastern Europe and Asia". The Polisk wikipedia page contradicts this statement by saying it comes from China and India. Could someone please resolve this inconsistency, clearly, one of the two articles is misinformed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7C:64A5:EF00:AD05:FFC3:4717:80EF (talk) 10:02, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
