First Poem[edit]

Tapestry of Delights Revisited states:- "He was just 14 when his first poem appeared in "Evergreen Review"
Having been born in 1940, this would be 1954, but according to the Wiki article on Evergreen Review it did not start publication until 1957 ??

George Kahn/ George Khan[edit]

The name of one of the saxophonists in the Battered Ornaments is given as George Kahn. That's the name of an American jazz pianist. I believe this should read George Khan (spelled differently). K-h-a-n is the name that appears on the (superb) Battered ornaments album. This is a biography/discography of Khan, also known as Nisar Ahmad Khan (sometimes spelled Nisam, but I'm pretty sure that's wrong): http://www.emanemdisc.com/E5211.html. It includes a reference to his involvement in the Battered ornaments. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sol-ray (talkcontribs) 07:18, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Death announced[edit]

On his official Facebook page his death was announced two hours ago: "died last night at the age of 82 after a courageous battle with cancer." But nothing on his website petebrown.co.uk yet, nor anywhere else as far as I can find. Mark in wiki (talk) 14:58, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

doubtful his vocals were wiped from BO's debut[edit]

His foto and credit is on my copy of the Battered Ornaments' "Mantlepiece" album. Allmusic is rarely reliable. HammerFilmFan (talk) 09:03, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
