Regrettably, this was nominated nearly two months after it was listed as a Good Article, far too late to qualify for DYK. I'm sorry this wasn't realized sooner, including by myself when you first nominated it.
ALT1:... that the memorial(pictured) honoring Revolutionary War general Peter Muhlenberg in Washington, D.C. was not dedicated until October 26, 1980, 52 years after Congress authorized its construction?
Comment: I'd like to see about getting this a DYK on the 26th, if possible!

I'm sorry to create a hitch, but I don't believe that the image is usable; "freedom of panorama" doesn't include works of art like the statue in the monument, or even monuments themselves, which I think do have their own copyright.
