Copyright Information[edit]

I have heard that there is, or has been, some copyright controversy regarding Peter Rabbit. Perhaps this article should contain information about this. Was this published in 1902, or just written in 1902? It says they were owned by someone or other from 1943 to 2002 - so, are they public domain, now? Shoreu 05:01, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wouldn't that depend on where you are? Here in the UK, given that "Peter Rabbit" was certainly published in Potter's lifetime, the book's copyright expires at the end of 2013 (70 years after her death). I don't know about US copyright. 81.159.58.45 (talk) 01:47, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
