Rationale for new article

I mainly wanted to get this article up as it's pretty significant to have an african american directing an animated feature, especially one that has a Golden Globe nomination.

There are some articles that "say" he's been referred to as "The Obama of Animation" but that sounds a little trite so I've not included it.

Hope the new article monitors will see fit to approve this. Especially when there's a wikipedia article for every tiny distribution of Linux ;) --Davoloid (talk) 16:40, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

Biographical data

The Glendale News-Press article (July 2012) says he's 2012 but other than that I cannot find any information on the biographic specifics needed for an infobox.

Second point for more experienced Wikipedians, I've not put his 26 roles as illustrator & storyboard artist in the filmography, should I? --Davoloid (talk) 16:40, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
