expand the biography?[edit]

Could someone with more complete knowledge of this interesting subject fill out the bio section? Where was he involved in magazines, South Africa? This would be good to know and good for the thoroughness of the article. Mr. Temple is quite an accomplished writer, but we learn so little about him here. Who can help?
