Morphological variety among birds and mammals
Morphological variety among birds and mammals
  • Source: Minelli, Alessandro (2019). Biodiversity, disparity and evolvability: "In terms of species number, birds are more diverse than mammals (some 10,000 vs. ca. 5600 extant species worldwide), but are instead quite more uniform in terms of morphology, reproductive biology and developmental schedules."

  • Approved: Article is new enough (created draft 6 May, moved to mainspace 12 May, nominated 14 May), long enough, every paragraph is cited to a scientific source (I only verified the hook source, AGF on the others), no copyvio detected (I would prefer if the paraphrasing of the hook fact wasn't quite so close), and presentable. The hook is formatted, of good length, cited to a reliable source (verified) and interesting. Image CCSA. I feel that I can make out enough of the image, and if it runs I'm sure it'll be clickbait to see the full-size version. QPQ waived. Will leave some copyedit notes on nominator's talk page. (I formatted/proofed the image caption.) – Reidgreg (talk) 23:58, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
