Other collaborations[edit]

He co-wrote some music in last Pink Floyd albums, please can anyone seek this info and put here properly? --Doktor Who 10:41, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know, he just co-wrote one song (One Slip; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Slip) and wrote the lyrics for it, because David just had so much problems, finding his own lyrical style, after Roger left. Maybe some of you registered users can insert it in? 80.135.135.97 09:20, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tags[edit]

I have removed the "inappropriate tone" and "copyedit" tags as no explanation was given for them and because having proofread it myself, it seems fine.. Just wants fleshing out some more. Keithbowden (talk) 23:08, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stolen content[edit]

Almost 100% stolen from Manzanera's own website. This "article" is absolutely horrific, in NO way encyclopedic, and needs to go. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.149.143.181 (talk) 09:42, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, 86.149.143.181 seems to be quite right to raise this issue (sorry, no user page to talk to you)... I will attend to throw a line and help to solve it. As far as I can. Regards. Gigacoarse (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 02:16, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Last Name[edit]

Anyone know when and why he changed his last name from Targett-Adams to Manzanera? And is "Manzanera" a stage name, or his legal name? 172.129.135.187 (talk) 00:37, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The transcriptions of birth registers at www.freebmd.org.uk show that his birth was registered in the first quarter of 1951 and confirm that Targett-Adams was his last name at birth, and that his mother's maiden name was Manzanera. So, he took his mother's name.
But, as well as Targett-Adams, the records also show that his birth was recorded under the last name Adams. The same applies to the entry for his sister Rosemary (registered third quarter of 1947).
His childhood travels to Colombia and Cuba etc may be relevant but - without guessing - I can't make any suggestions why he uses his mother's name. Everywhere else I have looked he is referred to as Manzanera. Twistlethrop (talk) 22:01, 15 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
