Limitation on 19-th century and article name[edit]

Since there was so much information to cover for both the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, I only concentrated on the nineteenth century for now. However, I may one day eventually return to work on the section for the twentieth century, as there is nothing there save for a single sentence.

Just added a paragraph about a new acquisiton of the Smithsonian of daguerrotypes showing African American people. - But as this article only covers the 19th century, should it not rather be called "19th-century photography in America"? At least as long as nobody has added the 20th and 21st centuries, which in my opinion warrant separate articles. - Munfarid1 (talk) 13:11, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
