Picture "Head Cloth (Phulkari) 19th century Punjab LACMA M.64.24.1"[edit]

Hello coeditors,

There seems to be something wrong with this picture. People are dressed as in 16th century Germany, the king has a cross on his crown, and the style strongly resembles 16th century woodprints (e.g. Albrecht Dürer's "Triumph of Emperor Maximilian", of 1518. Here's a picture from this series:

Can this have been embroidered on a Punjabi dupatta in the 19th century? Curryfranke (talk) 12:01, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
