License[edit]

When a company licenses PhyreEngine, it doesn't automatically mean that every game they are working on uses PhyreEngine. Stop adding games unless you actually cite that they're using PhyreEngine. Also stop adding games that haven't been announced; "Unknown PS3 Game (2011)" is not a game and shouldn't be added. I just excised more than half the article for being totally made up nonsense.

Free in what way?[edit]

Can anyone shed light on how this is free? It's not available for download anywhere as far as I can see. Looks like you need be a licensed Sony developer, and since no one has distributed it to the outside world, I guess there are limitations on what you can and can't do with it? ¤ ehudshapira 13:53, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Supported platforms[edit]

The engine doesn't support Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Switch. Games released on these platforms run on custom in-house versions of PhyreEngine. So officially PhyreEngine doesn't support Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Switch. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2406:3003:2004:1992:B05F:A25:8F48:230B (talk) 04:29, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Demon's Souls and Dark Souls[edit]

People keep adding these back onto the list of games. They don't use PhyreEngine, the PhyreEngine lead said so:

It appears to be a classic case of citogenesis. Please stop putting these games in the list. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.18.21.194 (talk) 17:19, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Free status and version availability[edit]

Please leave the stable version blank as there's none available to the public other than leaks, and state that it's only free if you're a SCE licensee! Juest (talk) 14:05, 8 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
