Vital data[edit]

We note that he is reportedly born both in West Indies and in Chaville, Hauts-de-Seine, France. The source for Chaville, Sports-Reference.com, also gives the full name Pierre Henri Maurice Albarran. If/when that is confirmed both the lead and footer template {{Persondata}} need attention. --P64 (talk) 20:50, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The 2011 7th edition of the OEB still has birth place as the West Indies. Will keep my open to other references. Newwhist (talk) 13:52, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The French national library (footer link BnF) gives "Naissance: 1893-05-14, Paris". That's a numerical difference. Chaville may fit Paris.
French wikipedia gives "18 mai 1893 à Chaville" and two print references for the lead paragraph. It observes that Pierre was the son of urologist Joaquín Albarrán and was a prominent physician himself (I understand via Google translate). Four marriages.
Our biography of father Joaquín makes clear that he was an established physician in Paris by 1892.
