Bossier... cultivated cotton and sugar as commodity crops on his plantation... depending on the labor of large gangs of enslaved African Americans.

Every local plantation would have been run by slave labour, which hardly needs mentioning at all, let alone spelling out in this way. Valetude (talk) 04:29, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
