Suggested merger[edit]

  • If the merge is done, it should be to Pin (wrestling). "Pinfall" is a term specific to professional wrestling - amateur wrestling uses either "pin" or "fall" but never the compound. Plus, the Pin (wrestling) page title is broader. Mytildebang 05:13, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

International condition[edit]

Could someone please verify the stated condition for international competition? I thought it was merely a 'controlled touch' standard at that level. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Soronel (talkcontribs) 09:46, 23 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

I don't have my rulebook handy, but that was the rule. The vingt-et-un,-vingt-deux phrase is verbatim. Mytildebang 20:04, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pages merged[edit]

The two pages have been proposed for merger since December 2006, and I found no objections on either talk page. I decided to be bold and merge them for myself. I tried to delete any overlap (it was just a couple of sentences), but someone please look over it to make sure I did a satisfactory job. Nikki311 21:38, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

should be renamed[edit]

So that there is no confusion with Pin and this article, I think it could be renamed Pinfall or Pinfall (professional wrestling). Matrix8110 (talk) 22:04, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why can't we just put a "Not to be confused with pin" thing?SimonKSK 22:53, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Pinfall (short story) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 20:08, 11 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
