Refer to Pinto Bean with he/him pronouns[edit]

Pinto Bean is certainly male, as seen in this video by a UIUC student. Since he's a charismatic individual animal, and an unofficial UIUC mascot, I think we should refer to him with anthropomorphic he/him pronouns. Wikipedia already does this for other animals, like Alex (parrot) or Lassie. Anecdotally, most of the UIUC students I know use he/him pronouns when referring to Pinto Bean. Unfortunately I don't think that video qualifies as a reliable source for Pinto Bean's gender. Unless we have an actual reliable source indicating Pinto Bean's gender, I think we should keep it as it is. BanjoZebra (talk) 18:34, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
