Repeated reversion of IPA pronunciation[edit]

Could the succession of IP editor/s please follow the link to familiarise themselves with the Interational Phonetic Alphabet phonetic notation? The "i" symbol in IPA represents a close front unrounded vowel, one common representation of which is "ee". [brid] does indeed effectively equate to the pronunciciation of the word "breed" but it is not noted like that in IPA. Your change represents something like "brayed", with a doubly elongated "ay". Please stop misrepresenting it.

Also, the term "Scottish breid" is not one familiar to me, nor one that seems particularly helpful in distinguishing from other Scottish breads. Per the citations, it verifiably is termed "plain...", so don't remove that term. If you have reliable sources to support your position, bring them to the article.
