I've added citations where I could. Also, I changed "one block" to "one or more blocks", as my understanding is that Mexico City's Plaza de Armas is more than a single block. The entry seems rather barren as it is and, citations being my strong point, I'm not sure how to add a photo. Blind Donkey (talk) 21:33, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Granada? Havana?[edit]

I removed the following because it seems to mix Havana with Granada. Somebody knowledgeable with the cities should check it.

The Arms Square (Plaza de Armas) in Havana, Cuba was the original entrance to the Alcazaba. It consisted of a series of constructions where different services were carried out for the inhabitants of the fortress. On the right side there is still a big cistern with two sections, which must have been a rainwater cistern but which, in the 17th century started receiving water from the Alhambra's irrigation channel. Near the cistern, to the left of the entrance to the Alcazaba, there is a bath.

In the middle of the square and in part of the wall archaeologists have discovered the foundations of several Arab houses, which were the dwellings of the civil population who worked at the service of the dignitaries and military people who were there. There is of course a big dungeon close to the Broken Tower (Torre Quebrada).

I agree with BD2412 in that this is not a proper disambig in its current form. But should Plaza de Armas be converted to an article, or should we allow Plaza de Armas to remain a disambig, and then create an article for the general concept of "Plaza de Armas"?
