Original Research citation for sentence: "The lyrics include the line "If you survive 'til 2005". This was ironically prophetic, as 2005 saw the final reunion of the post-Barrett lineup at Live 8."[edit]

I do not agree that this should require any original research. I believe this is just a case of miswording the point that is trying to be made. The words "ironically prophetic" could imply that there was some inherent pre-determined notion when Point Me At The Sky was written that something would happen in 2005 related to the band that would be evidence of the band "surviving" as the lyric illustrates. This is obviously not the case because even if we fans look at the band members as superhuman none of the post-Barrett band members knew anything about the future that was laid out for them at the time they wrote Point Me At The Sky (yes folks just like you or I, sadly, even the Pink Floyd band members cannot see into the future).

To address this better, I have changed the word "ironically" to "accidentally" and deleted the original research citation. By labeling it an accident or coincidence, which it solely was, we avoid the need to provide any research. I will say this though, considering Pink Floyd's tenacious reputation for linking their music to their music as well as historic events associated with the band often relating to other historic events associated with the band, I do think the point being made by whomever the original author was is definitely relevant and should remain in this entry.

Stereo?[edit]

in the "Other Releases" section, the first paragraph says "It was first released in the United States in 1978 on ... "A Harvest Sampler" ..., in an otherwise unavailable stereo mix." Second paragraph says "There has never been a stereo mix version." Which is right? 92.6.119.251 (talk) 21:19, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
