I fail to understand why the actual location of Scammonden has been removed from the article. The Reference supplied for the Baptist Chapel states Scammonden in it. The postal address of the two remaining pubs there state Scammonden in them, IE: New Hey Road, Scammonden, Huddersfield, HD3 3FW. :- [1] . Additionally the reason why the chapel was built there, which is pertinent to its construction, has also been removed, despite it being referenced. "The Reference supplied for the Baptist Chapel states Scammonden in it." but the ref didn't even mention Pole Moor just a baptist chapel. I am not a mind reader and I don't think it is particularly useful to start describing "township Chapelries" in the opening sentence. The reason the chapel was built there was obviously written in such a way that I misunderstood it. Adding bare url refs isn't particularly helpful and splitting referenced text from its reference isn't helpful either. J3Mrs (talk) 11:56, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I thought the statement, with the supplied reference was quite understandable:- "Pole Moor Baptist Chapel was founded in 1787 and built in 1790 on the edge of Worts Hill, when the Earl of Dartmouth objected to it being built on his land, at Slaithwaite.[http://www.biblicalstudies.org.uk/pdf/bq/37-3_108.pdf page 15, note 2.] Richard Harvey (talk) 12:03, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well I misread it because of the comma. Can you please use citations as that is the referencing style of the article. J3Mrs (talk) 12:14, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
