Objectiveness[edit]

This is not an encyclopedic definition of "pony up", which is an idiom meaning "to pay (money) owed" - this is an advertisement for a band. -M. Winter

This is an encyclopedia article about a band; Wikipedia has many such articles. Wikipedia is not a dictionary and is not concerned with definitions (see WP:NOT). Definitions are better suited to the Wiktionary project. There are no POV issues with the article as far as I can tell. One might question the band's notability, but the article as currently written is neutral in tone. If you are still concerned about the lack of definition for the idiom "pony up", I'd suggest creating a separate, properly disambiguated article about that subject (see WP:DISAMBIG).

Title[edit]

Title needs to be changed from "Pony Up!" to "Pony Up". In 2006, the band dropped the exclamation point from their name.

Cleanup[edit]

Article needs to be cleaned up. Provides bias, and needs to be re-written in a more objective tone. I would do it, but I have little knowledge about the band. Considering deletion of second paragraph completly. -Comrade Muller

edit: Deleted second paragraph. Relevence to article tenous, displaying subjective views.

Sexism[edit]

I eliminated "all female" from the opening sentence. The alternative, of course, would be to insert "all male" in the opening sentence of every article about a band with no women in it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.161.244.161 (talk) 12:01, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
