Delta H?[edit]

Possibly state the relative or exact amount of energy released? Would be worthwhile to mention. Mamyles (talk) 03:48, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest sentence needs revising[edit]

Reads poorly.

In one study the compound is dispersed in paraffin to allow for better dispensing.[3] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Taliska (talkcontribs) 23:33, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Changed is to was, for a quick fix. Further suggestions are welcome. Materialscientist (talk) 00:02, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reactions[edit]

It does not seems likely that hydride would deprotonate an amine into an amide, where would the oxygen come from? I could imagine that it would convert an amide ito an amine but wouldn't this be reduction (that might or might not involve a deprotonation)?150.227.15.253 (talk) 10:42, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Well its the usual problem, the definitions. Amide can mean RC(O)NH2-like thing or a deprotonated amine such as KNHR. The nomenclature is terrible but entrenched. --Smokefoot (talk) 13:35, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
