Hi, I have had a prelit tree that I have had now for at leat 4 years. Some parts of the tree are not lighting.Could u please tell me how to fix the lights on the tree? The tree is beautiful and it even spins around. I just want all the lights fixed this year. We haven't had all the lights on it for 3 years now. Thank You, Theresa DalyWetbrain (talk) 20:33, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't really the place to ask this as Talk Pages are really for discussing the article... However, "The product is an artificial fir tree that comes pre-wired and strung with lights, which cannot be removed and are usually embedded within the artificial branches". If yours is partly not lighting, it means either the LEDs or minibulbs are dead, or the wiring is broken, or, if it's a fibre optic one, the light carrying fibres are broken. Whichever, there's nothing you can do if you are asking this question. Some people are able to fix things like this - sometimes , and with a lot of knowledge and time to spare (and possibly a lack of 'a life'). Don't try. Sorry, but they don't last for ever. They count as unrepairable, like a large part of the Christmas tree light strings now. Peridon (talk) 23:25, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
