Born in a hospital[edit]

I was just listening to Bill Clinton's autobiography on CD. In it, I think he states he was born in a hospital. Should the wording to this be changed from "born" to "home as an infant" or something similar? [Unsigned comment from 2007 Jan 10]

I agree that the name of this NHS is misguided, and on more than one count. This is not Bill Clinton's birthplace, as you point out, but the page name reflects the official name of the site as designated by Congress and approved by President Obama. It also uses the man's formal and full name, a departure from "Bill Clinton", by which he is mainly known. By contrast, in Georgia, it's Jimmy Carter NHS, not James Earl Carter NHS. As the Park Service says, it's really up to Congress what they call a site, and staff on Capitol Hill may not be attuned to Park System nomenclature. They have, for instance, created these various titles for the NPS: National Battlefield, National Battlefield Park, National Battlefield Site, and National Military Park. I'm surprised, though, that NPS staff don't appear to have a hand in the legislation as it moves through various stages, at least not publicly. Yoho2001 (talk) 16:23, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
