A fact from Prince Antasari appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 22 March 2012 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Prince Antasari(pictured), who led a war against Dutch colonists for over three years, was ultimately defeated by smallpox?
I was trying to make some links and found that Kapuas, Barito, and Kahayan appear now to be rivers. Perhaps there are also places of the same names? Or is it that at the time of Antasari the names referred to communities linked by the rivers? Moonraker (talk) 01:47, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I think those name were like clans or tribes that lived around the rivers of the same name. Nowadays, those name are used for naming regencies and subdistricts in Kalimantan. (I hope you'll understand, because my English so bad) αδζψακφρψερ 01:51, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
