Illegitimate[edit]

How come there is no mention of his illegitimate birth? Doesn't that preclude his headship of the house? Seven Letters 18:32, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What does he claim about his position? Any documents? He seems like claiming without basis.
By the way, do you think that he should be removed from claimants(or pretenders)? Genealogiajapan (talk) 20:23, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure. Is it established that he presents a strong claim? If not, he should be removed. Seven Letters 20:56, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The article says: "Friedrich Wilhelm was born out of wedlock at Neuwied, West Germany, the first child of Prince Ernst August of Lippe ...... and his wife, Christa von Arnim". Somehow that doesn't add up. Gerard von Hebel (talk) 01:04, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Turns out his parents were married after his birth <<ref>>http://www.thepeerage.com/p6314.htm<<//ref>> Jevansen (talk) 01:57, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
