I will be happy to add many recordings to the discography during the week of June 2008. Thanks to the person who started the wikipedia article on Private Music. Great job and much appreciated.Kjpr (talk) 09:20, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kjpr (talk) 09:18, 1 June 2008 (UTC) this record label is under the category of "german record label" -- this is incorrect. baumann was german-american, and bmg's world hq and founding location was germany. but bmg music was always new york. in any case, private music was and is an american record label. this needs to be changed and i don't know how to do it.Kjpr (talk) 09:18, 1 June 2008 (UTC) 71.102.134.151 (talk) 19:50, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

dates in discog[edit]

not sure how the first album in the list (ciani’s “seven waves”) came out in 1982 on a label that was founded in 1984.... can someone please check? ciani’s own page says the album was made in 1979 & released on Atlantic in 1984, & that she signed with Private in 1987. something doesn’t add up.

Lists in articles[edit]

Lists in articles are intended as a way of navigating to related Wikipedia articles. Per WP:NOTCATALOG, Wikipedia is not here to help a company market or maintain a full list their products. Only albums which have Wikipedia articles should be listed in the discography. I've removed the albums without articles. Skyerise (talk) 14:03, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
