Should there be a link to the National Science Advisor (Canada)? Isn't that part of the Privy Council Office now? Rakerman 12:39, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The building housing the Privy Council Office is shown in a photographic illustration and identified as the Langevin Block. This name is out of date. Prime Minister trudeau has removed the name because of the sensitivity of langevin's policies to the indigenous peoples. As of June 21, 2017, it has been renamed "Office of the Prime Minister and Privy Council." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:E008:53:CC40:ED7D:7994:855A:BDD6 (talk) 23:02, 24 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

The head of the civil service has the title of Clerk of the Privy Council, and also serves as the Secretary to the Cabinet and Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister.[1] Is the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister currently abolished? Komitsuki (talk) 09:01, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming of the Langevin Block[edit]

The building housing the Privy Council Office and the Prime Minister's Office has been renamed to "Office of the Prime Minister and Privy Council". The current illustration on the page uses the prior name of the "langevin Block". The name was changed by Prime Minister Trudeau on July 21, 2017 to reflect the sensitivity of Langevin's policies towards the indigenous peoples.
