Article in progress, June 2016[edit]
I have started this article today and I intend to return in a few days to continue working on it. In the days to come I intend to: (1) add more content to the sections Characteristics of PSMs and Applications of PSMs; (2) add a list of, and brief descriptions of, the major PSMs; (3) incorporate more of the Further reading section into the new content.
