Starting article[edit]

After I published this first stub I find that there was a deletion debate of a previous article which was said to be a PR release. I hope editors will agree this article cites notable sources and is NPOV. I would also argue that a charity that has been going this long, and with so many volunteers sent overseas easily passes any notability test. It is already redlinked on other established articles including those about Coll. Billlion (talk) 16:36, 18 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Other sources[edit]

I found some other news sources that may help expand the article

  • This one about the tragic death of a volunteer [1]
  • This about a school event with many quotes from the current director which gives a bit more insight in to what they do

[2]

There have been at least two fatalities amongst the 7000 volunteers. Are there any studies or reports on the safety of what PT does? Haven't found yet. Here are examples of accidents, that seem to be while the volunteers are engaged in tourist activities in their spare time.

Also I wonder if there any academic studies in the development or education literature about how effective they are. I couldn't find any. Billlion (talk) 16:47, 18 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your hard work User:AYearWithNoGaps -- lots of new information and well supported by sources. I assume you are new to Wikipedia editing but it is impressive how quickly you learnt the syntax, and that you are associated with Project Trust. Please be aware of WP:WORDS, this is an encylopedia and needs to be in an encyclopedic style and this is very different from the way you would phrase things when writing about your organization for your own media. Also have a look at the way I changed the headings, first of all to a more factual encyclopedic style and less of news paper headlines, and also using the correct formatting.Billlion (talk) 14:41, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tilda Swinton[edit]

No reliable source I can find supports claim that Swinton was a PT volunteer. I don't doubt that it is true. For example PT issued a press release copied here [5], but we need an independent reliable source, or evidence at least she confirms that she volunteered for PT.Billlion (talk) 18:09, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
